Biography
Nuno Costa is a Sales Engineer at 3DZ Portugal and Norcam Engenharia e Design Industrial, in Porto, since December 2022. He holds an Integrated Master's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (2013-2018), having developed his thesis on the validation of the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process through an internship at CEiiA, where he deepened his skills in CAD/CAM/CAE, reverse engineering, and additive manufacturing. During his studies, he also gained research experience at FEUP and at a metallurgical center in Durango, Basque Country.
He began his professional career at FEUP as a Technical and Logistics Engineer, and later joined CaetanoBus (2019-2022), where he led the Improvement File Project for buses, developing knowledge in automotive mechanics, pneumatics, electricity, and high-voltage systems. This technical background now underpins his commercial activity as a Sales Engineer, combining a solid scientific foundation in materials and additive manufacturing with strong customer relationship skills. In parallel, since 2021 he has dedicated himself to youth football as a coach at Dragon Force Ermesinde, reflecting a leadership spirit that extends beyond his professional context.
