The data controller for personal data collected through this website is the Instituto Politecnico de Viseu (IPV), in co-organisation with AIRV and the Municipality of Viseu. For data protection matters, please contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at dpo@ipv.pt.
2. Data Collected
When registering for the IndustriaTech+IA 2026 event, we collect the following personal data: full name, email address, company or organisation, professional profile, sessions of interest, and an optional message. A phone number may be optionally requested.
3. Purpose of Processing
The data collected is used exclusively for the organisation of the IndustriaTech+IA 2026 event, including: managing registrations, communicating with participants about event details, and issuing attendance certificates.
4. Legal Basis
The processing of your personal data is based on the free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent you provide when submitting the registration form. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.
5. Analytics
This website uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics solution that does not use cookies. No personal data is collected through the analytics system. All data is aggregated and anonymised, making it impossible to identify individual users.
6. Data Sharing
Your personal data is not shared with third parties, except with the event co-organising entities (IPV, AIRV and the Municipality of Viseu), strictly for event organisation purposes. No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.
7. Data Retention
Registration data will be retained for up to 6 months after the event, after which it will be securely deleted. If you have consented to future communications, your data will be kept until you withdraw your consent.
8. Data Subject Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict processing; data portability; and object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
9. How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of your rights, please send an email to dpo@ipv.pt or geral@industriatech.ai, identifying yourself and specifying the right you wish to exercise. We will respond to your request within a maximum of 30 days.
