Gonçalo Abrantes

Gonçalo Abrantes is an Electrical Engineer and Head of Artificial Intelligence at Enging - Make Solutions (Dynamox Europe), where he leads the development of machine learning, deep learning, and agentic AI solutions for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of electrical machines. He works across the full AI product lifecycle — from signal processing to feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, and user insights — with a focus on multi-agent systems for automated fault diagnosis. He holds a Master's in Power Systems Control and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Coimbra, and contributes to scientific publications in applied AI for electrical engineering.
