Biography
Francisco Mendes is the Founder of MAKE IT product R&D and leads the development of technology products from concept to industrialization. He built his first electronic circuit at the age of 10, reflecting an early drive to create physical products that continues to define his work.
With 25+ years of experience, Francisco has built and led R&D teams delivering complex tech products from concept to market, with hands-on experience across EVT, DVT, and PVT phases, ensuring a structured transition from prototype to scalable production. He has a background in Electronics and Telecommunications and Industrial Automation.
He is the founder of BEEVERYCREATIVE, where he led the team and development of the multi-awarded BEETHEFIRST desktop 3D printer. The company became internationally recognized for developing European Space Agency’s(ESA) first 3D printers, certified for spaceflight and engineered to operate in microgravity conditions.
