Biography
Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing are remarkably accelerating the world’s digital transformation, so it is more important than ever to plan how to harness their potential. That is one of my responsibilities at Critical Software as the Innovation Catalyst || Director of Innovation: to keep up with technology trends and promote a vibrant discussion to consolidate a technological vision and create a strategic differentiation. My position at Critical Software is the culmination of 20 years of experience in using technology to develop disruptive solutions.
I started my professional career as a professor in Electronics, Automation and Robotics, but the will to develop real-world technology led me to found a startup that conquered the most demanding customers in the world. That experience as CEO proved to be the most challenging and valuable MBA one could aspire to.
I also took on the role of CTO, which allowed me to idealise and develop innovative projects such as 3D scanners to capture the shape of the human body and a novel production line for customised products. Seeking a constant flow of cutting-edge solutions, I established several partnerships with R&D institutions and universities.
My passion for technology goes beyond the professional realm. In my spare time I make exploratory projects in domains such as IoT, Blockchain and Virtual Reality/Metaverse. I have been invited to multiple innovation events to present and discuss the implications of these and other emerging technologies. I’m captivated by the amazement people show when they realize how much technology is going to change and improve our lives in the near future
