Ana Vieira

Ana Vieira is a Lecturer, currently an Adjunct Professor at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra since 2021, with a long-standing academic career spanning several higher education institutions. She holds a PhD from the University of Coimbra and has been conducting research, since 2015, at CISE - Electromechatronic Systems Research Centre, at the University of Beira Interior.

Her teaching career began in 1996 at the University of Algarve, in Faro, followed by a long tenure of over 22 years, between 1999 and 2021, as a Faculty Member at the Instituto Politécnico de Tomar. In parallel, between 1999 and 2014, she was also a Researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, in Coimbra. This trajectory reflects a lasting commitment to higher education and scientific research, combining institutional stability with continuous research activity over nearly three decades.
