Ana Clara Cristóvão

Ana Clara Cristóvão is a university researcher and entrepreneur in the field of neuroscience and health innovation. She is a Principal Investigator at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Beira Interior, where she conducts research on neurodegeneration, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, and neuroprotection strategies, with a particular focus on Parkinson’s disease. She is a co-founder and CSO of NeuroSoV, a spin-off dedicated to developing new therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. Her work promotes the translation of scientific knowledge into therapeutic solutions, combining preclinical research, pharmaceutical development, innovation, and technology transfer.
