Biography
Agostinho da Silva is a co-founder and Board of Directors member of CEI by Zipor, a Portuguese company he has led since its founding in 1995, bringing over 30 years of experience in the management and development of the group.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (1989), and has continuously invested in advanced education, including a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Instituto Superior de Gestão (2012-2014) and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (2017-2019). Over the past decade, he has also pursued doctoral studies in fields related to industrial and service innovation, including work at the University of Évora (Industry 4.0 & Service Innovation), Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (Logistics & Supply Chains Management), Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (Industrial Engineering, Industry 4.0 Ecosystems), and, most recently, the University of Beira Interior (Coopetition & Technology-Enabled Service Ecosystems, 2022-2025).
His career combines extensive business leadership experience with a sustained commitment to advanced academic knowledge in engineering, management, and industrial innovation.
