Kirk Patrick is the co-founder of Arsia Labs, a Viseu-based company building technology that gives businesses control over their software, AI and data. Arsia Cloud is a European PaaS for applications, services and AI agents. SLM Factory produces specialized language models that run entirely inside the company perimeter, on isolated networks and shop floors, with zero egress by architecture. Blueprints turn platform capabilities into complete solutions.
He is the author of the Arsia Protocol, an open technical standard that lets an organization prove what its AI agents did, under whose authorization and within which rules, as verifiable cryptographic evidence rather than after-the-fact documentation. He is a signatory of the EU AI Pact, participates in W3C community groups on AI agent standards, and authored a technical comment to NIST NCCoE on AI agent identity.
His work at Arsia Labs draws on 18+ years building systems where failure has consequences: banking in Germany, medical devices in the United States, insurance in Canada, payments in Brazil and transportation in the United Kingdom.
